Hi Guys,
I really enjoy all of your ideas!!
I think Juliette’s idea about going to Alcatraz is a very good.
I think that Alcatraz is really famous and we all have seen it in movies  and it’d be really interesting to go visit it in real life and learn more about the mystery behind the famous escape of the 3 prisoners.

I also love the idea of going to the golden gate bridge, it’s THE symbol of San Francisco and it would make great pictures as well.
But there are so many things we could do in that City that I agree with Sylvain we need more than a week to do all of them  :)

Bye ! Camille

I think the part of San Francisco that we can’t miss if we travel there is Chinatown.
From what we heard from « Wes » Chinatown is one of the most famous neighbourhoods in San Francisco.
People are surprised that Chinatown is an actual community where people actually live.
We often have that stereotype of Chinatown being exotic by the media but Chinatown is in fact the largest Chinese community outside of Asia and the oldest Chinese neighbourhood of North America.
When we usually think of Chinatown we think about fortune cookies but there’s a lot more. We start to discover Chinatown by diving through the alleys. Follow the inhabitants and observe where they go eating it’s usually where the good food is.
Once you get of the main street you can see in the back alleys where people go shopping, where the children go playing...
What make Chinatown so unique are also the traditional sounds we can here there such as the Chinese violin that produce those rich sounds you can hear in the streets.
And if we go there we have to visit the 2 main local parks Mary’s square and Portsmouth. In those Parks there are a lot of fun activities we can do such as Dancing, Tai chi or even playing Mahjong … :)

What do you think ? :) I look forward for your answer
Bye
